The Swedish forward Roony Bardghji was one of the new additions made by FC Barcelona in their team during the last summer transfer window. He came to the Catalan club with a lot of expectations, but the fact that he plays best in the same position as Lamine Yamal naturally makes it difficult for him to get a lot of minutes.

So far, he has played only 173 minutes in La Liga and another 22 minutes in the UEFA Champions League for Barcelona, but still, his demand in the market is rising, and several teams, like Stuttgart and Porto, are interested in his signing.

However, according to SPORT, Hansi Flick is convinced that Bardghji is an asset for the team for the future and has full confidence in his abilities.

Meanwhile, the player, currently on international duty, has also appeared in some interviews, in which he has given an indication of his future plans. Talking about his progress, the forward believed that he is growing as a player:

“I feel great. I notice that I’m progressing every day, and I learn a lot from my teammates in every training session.”

Furthermore, Bardghji understood that it was still too early for him to make any decisions regarding his future:

“I’ve had playing time, so I feel great. I know I have to be patient; I’ve only been in Barcelona for three or four months, and it’s still too early to make decisions.”

Overall, the forward made it clear that he is enjoying his time at Barcelona:

“I’m having a great time at Barça, and I also have a very good relationship with Hansi, who is an incredible coach. He and the club trust me, and that means a lot. The rest I don’t know—many things are written, but I’m not worried.”

As Roony Bardghji himself mentioned, it is still early days for him at Barcelona, and hopefully, he will be able to convince Hansi Flick to give him more game time going forward.
