He is now set to return to Real Madrid, and the Manchester United defender Leny Yoro will take his place in the national team squad.

The French Football Federation published a statement about the center-back, and made it clear that the decision to release him and let him rejoin his club was made after consultation with the Merengue side’s medical staff.

Fortunately, Konate’s injury does not seem to be serious.
