“I’m going to go” – John Terry makes his prediction for Sunderland vs Chelsea

Chelsea legend John Terry believes the Blues will be playing some form of European football next season under Xabi Alonso.

The Blues travel to Sunderland on Sunday for their final game of the season, and currently sit eighth in the league after another disappointing season.
Chelsea still have the opportunity to qualify for either the Europa League or Conference League, but defeat would condemn them to no European football.
The Blues won their first Premier League game since March on Tuesday night against Tottenham, and will be looking to end the campaign on a high.
Chelsea lost the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge 2-1, and are only a point ahead of the Black Cats who sit tenth.
Calum McFarlane confirmed Levi Colwill and Joao Pedro both trained on Friday having missed the win against Spurs.
It’s likely Reece James will feature having been left on the bench on Tuesday night, but Chelsea face a tough task at the Stadium of Light.
Paul Merson believes it’ll be a draw, and now Terry has shared his opinion on whether Chelsea will be in Europe next season.
“Sunderland vs Chelsea, where we have to win, and have to finish the season well,” he said on TikTok.
“I’m going to go 0-2, Chelsea winning this one.”

It’s been reported Fernandez could play his final game for Chelsea against Sunderland on Sunday afternoon at the Stadium of Light.
