Barcelona suffered one of their most humiliating defeat under the leadership of Hansi Flick as they succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Sevilla.

It was a tough game for the Catalans, with only a few players showing any real impetus. One of them was Marcus Rashford, who pulled one back for the away side late into the first half.

However, in what appears to be a major concern for Barcelona, the Englishman may have picked up an injury.

Fresh injury blow for Barcelona?

Indeed, Rashford was seen sitting on the field after the final whistle, with visible discomfort. He was accompanied by a couple of Barcelona staff.

Although Barça are yet to confirm the injury, it seems Rashford may have picked up a knock late during the proceedings.

This could prove to be a massive blow for Barcelona, considering the fact that the Englishman was one of the few players who showed any real enterprise against the Sevilla defence.

Not to mention, Rashford’s injury comes at a time when Barcelona are already struggling with the absences of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, as well as Fermin Lopez.

The attacker’s potential injury could leave Hansi Flick with limited options in the attacking third, with Dani Olmo and Roony Bardghji appearing to be the only fit options available.

However, nothing has been confirmed yet, and to Barcelona’s fortune, Rashford will have at least a couple of weeks to recover, thanks to the upcoming international break.

The coming hours, therefore, could prove to be critical as fans await an update on Rashford’s fitness.
