First impressions“The whole staff here have been very supportive. It's been great meeting my teammates and I’m really looking forward to playing with them very soon.”

Joining Valencia CF

“I knew it was a difficult decision and a big challenge for me at this stage of my career, but I was excited about the idea of playing for this club. It was a very exciting project and a thrilling challenge. So when I made the decision, I was very excited.”

His favoured position

“Whether on the wings or in the middle, I can play in every attacking position. I like to create a lot of scoring opportunities and provide assists. I also enjoy defending.”

His personal objective

“On a personal level, I would like to play as soon as possible and help the team, and also be a player that others – my teammates, coach, and fans – can have confidence in. That is my main individual objective, in addition to taking Valencia CF to their rightful place – at the top of LaLiga.”

His journey

“I started out very young in Japan, and thanks to everything I did there, I’ve been given the opportunity to come here. It’s a new beginning, and this is where I have to prove my worth.”.

Taking the decision with his family

“At first, they didn’t understand the magnitude of this transfer, but they were very happy and excited. They have always supported me.”

Valencia as a city

“It’s beautiful and the architecture is incredible. It's a place I’d love to come to on holiday. I love Spanish culture.”

His hobbies

“I like golf, although I’m not very good at it. I don’t play many video games, but I do play EAFC and eFootball. I like Blue Lock and Haikyuu -a manga series.”

The final season at Mestalla

“I’ve arrived at the perfect time, just as the final season at Mestalla is about to begin. It’s the last page of the second chapter and the beginning of a new one. I hope this campaign will make the fans proud and create incredible memories for them of their last year at Mestalla.”

A message to the fans

“I know the passion and history of this club. I want the fans to understand that I will give my all on the pitch. Every minute I am on the pitch, you'll see me giving 100%.”
