Valencia coach Carlos Corberan is plotting to change Largie Ramazani’s position amid hopes Leeds United will ‘loosen up’ their stance on the winger in the closing days of the window.

The Leeds star joined Valencia on a season-long loan last season and featured 27 times while registering seven goal contributions for Los Che as he came on strong towards the end of the campaign.

Daniel Farke deems Ramazani surplus to requirements and the 26-year-old is not in the German tactician’s plans for the future.

Ramazani has admirers in Valencia with CEO Ron Gourlay believing the player to be excellent value for the money, but it was suggested that Corberan is not keen on bringing him back to the club as he feels there are better wingers.

Valencia have tried to bring Ramazani back and want a loan with an option to buy, but Leeds have been sticking at €8m and a permanent deal.

It was suggested that Los Che were looking at other options in the market but they will make a move for the Leeds winger if they fail to find a better option.

They could though go for Ramazani and another winger as Corberan is now plotting a position change for the Leeds man.

Valencia are looking to sell Andre Almeida to Celta Vigo and are ready to use the cash for Ramazani, according to Spanish journalist Nacho Sanchis.

And Corberan views Ramazani ‘as more suited to playing inside as a 10 than out wide’, suggesting a change in role for the wide-man.

The Spanish side are hoping that Leeds ‘will loosen up’ as the end of the window approaches given their desire to offload Ramazani.

It has been suggested that Valencia were ready to go as high as €5m for the Leeds winger and it remains to be seen whether they will make a better offer to the Whites in the coming days.

Ramazani has featured 31 times for Leeds so far with nine goal contributions to show for it and his current deal with the Whites expires in 2028.
