Largie Ramazani is holding out for a return to Valencia, keeping his links with the dressing room alive while he waits on an exit from Leeds United.
According to Superdeporte, the Belgian attacker has been left out of pre-season, discarded by Daniel Farke and stripped of his squad number at Leeds United. He remains at Elland Road as he looks for a move to Mestalla on terms more favourable to Valencia, who still list him among their wing options.
Ramazani departed Valencia at the end of last season, but his bond with the dressing room has not faded. He stays in touch with several players and is keen to share a side with them again.
He has shown it privately and in public, regularly reacting on social media to former team-mates such as Javi Guerra and Jesús Vázquez. Most recently he replied to Mouctar Diakhaby, writing “Diaka” with heart and heart-eyes emojis after the centre-back’s strong second half.
These are key days for Ramazani’s future. Leeds have spent the summer pursuing a sale on terms Valencia do not reach, and it remains to be seen whether they soften late in the window to avoid carrying his salary or whether an offer arrives that suits both the player and the English club.
