The Andorrans include French centre-back Robin Lafarge, a Montpellier academy product. They could draw AS Monaco or Ajax, both through, with the draw on Friday at 13:00.

After a 4-2 win in Sion, Ajax were even more prolific at the Johan Cruijff Arena, winning 5-3. Tolu Arokodare scored twice, 45+1 and 51, while Sion’s Winsley Boteli hit a hat-trick.

Fribourg thrashed Motherwell 4-1, winning 7-2 on aggregate. Brighton strolled past Tromsö 4-0, with French defender Olivier Boscagli on the scoresheet.

Atalanta laboured to a 1-0 win over Hapoël Tel-Aviv, settled in the 72nd minute after a 0-0 first leg. Panathinaïkos needed extra time to see off Hradec Kralove 2-1 following a 2-2 first leg.

Jablonec knocked out Rangers on penalties, edging the second leg 1-0 then taking the shootout 4-3 after Rangers had won 1-0 in the first leg. Karabagh were pegged back by Twente at 90+2, then lost 4-1 in extra time as Wout Weghorst and Younes Taha struck.
