Inter Milan center-forward Marcus Thuram continued his Champions League scoring drought in last night’s defeat to Arsenal.
According to the Italian press via L’Interista, the Frenchman’s performance failed to inspire much confidence.
Thuram has been unable to rediscover his old form since coming back from injury in November.
Despite his disjointed showings in recent matches, Cristian Chivu decided to pair him up with Lautaro Martinez last night.
However, Inter’s striker duo failed to trouble Arsenal’s sturdy backline.

It was never going to be easy for the Thu-La tandem, as they faced off against the best defensive team in Europe.
Nonetheless, home fans must have expected more from their idols, especially the Frenchman.
Unfortunately, the 28-year-old failed to test David Raya.
Except for a wayward finish midway through the first half, Thuram never had a clear sight of goal.
As a result, he has now drawn a blank in five consecutive Champions League matches since scoring a double against Ajax on day one.
