Inter Milan’s trip to Genoa on Sunday won’t just be important on the pitch as the Nerazzurri will also use the match as a chance to take a close look at Morten Frendrup and Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Indeed, two Genoa players who have emerged as concrete targets for future reinforcement.

With Denzel Dumfries struggling physically and facing an uncertain future, right-wing-back is becoming a priority area.

A young, athletic profile is exactly what the club are seeking, and the England U21 defender fits that brief.

At just 21, he is considered “a young, explosive profile with reasonable costs,” a type of investment that has already proven successful for Inter with players such as Sucic, Bonny and Pio Esposito.
