Inter Milan legend Dejan Stankovic heaped praise on his son, Aleksandar, who could return to Stadio San Siro in the summer.
During his recent interview via FCInterNews, the Red Star Belgrade boss spoke highly of the Club Brugge midfielder.
Aleksandar Stankovic left Italy to join the Jupiler Pro League giants in the summer, with Inter earning around €10 million from his transfer.
Furthermore, the 20-year-old has gone from strength to strength at the Jan Breydel Stadium this season.
Indeed, he has bagged seven goals and added four assists in 37 appearances for Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, the runaway Serie A leaders are reportedly eager to bring him back to Lombardy at the end of the current campaign.
To achieve that, Inter will have to caugh out to activate a €23 million buyback clause.
However, Cristian Chivu’s men are seemingly ready to part with that figure to replace the outgoing Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“What should I advise him, considering that at his age he might already be a better player than me,” Stankovic stated.
“The most important thing is consistency. His performances with Lucerne and Brugge have been phenomenal.
“The transformation is incredible: physically, psychologically, mentally, tactically.
“He keeps improving match after match. Now the pressure on him is high; we’ll see how he reacts.
“But if he keeps going at this pace, he will become a serious player. Where he will play, I don’t know, but he will be a serious player.
“I gave an interview when he was three years old.
“Back then I said what he does with the ball and how he handles it shows he will play football and that it would be a miracle.
“So for me, it’s no surprise that only his head and his feet are on the ground.
“Now the hard part is coming for him – that’s when you see what you’re really made of.”
