Interest expressed! PSG star draws attention at Bayern

FC Bayern appears to be continuing to consistently pursue its talent strategy. According to recent media reports, the Munich club has set its sights on PSG youth player Ibrahim Mbaye. The 18-year-old is considered one of France’s greatest offensive talents and is being courted by numerous top European clubs.

FC Bayern continues to keep an eye out for promising young players with development potential. After the Munich club was recently linked to Chelsea prospect Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli, among others, another top talent has now appeared on the record champion’s radar.

As reported by Transferfeed, FC Bayern has submitted an inquiry regarding Ibrahim Mbaye of Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern faces stiff competition

According to the report, the 18-year-old is considering leaving his youth club to secure better opportunities for regular playing time.

However, the competition to sign Mbaye is fierce. In addition to FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and RB Leipzig are also said to be showing interest from the Bundesliga.

Several top English clubs are also in the mix. Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Aston Villa are reportedly keeping a close eye on the attacking player’s situation as well.

PSG Open to a Sale

According to information from Transferfeed, Bayer Leverkusen has already made an offer for Mbaye, but it was rejected by Paris Saint-Germain.

In principle, the French club is reportedly open to a sale, provided a suitable offer is received. However, PSG has not yet set a specific asking price.

According to the report, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are currently considered the most promising candidates. Both clubs are said to have already presented the French talent with detailed plans for his sporting future.

It remains to be seen whether FC Bayern will step up its efforts. What is clear, however, is that the Munich club is continuing its strategy of investing early in the development of highly promising young players.
