FC Bayern has been satisfied with how the summer transfer window has gone so far. Two major deals have already been completed, and the focus now is on selling players. Of course, the record champions are continuing to monitor the market. And an exciting opportunity may still arise.
At the moment, they aren’t targeting a specific type of player for any particular position. Where they make their next moves will depend primarily on how the roster develops. For example, if Hiroki Ito and Min-jae Kim are sold, then another center back could be signed.
Also of interest is the situation involving a Manchester City attacking player who has long been linked with Bayern. We’re talking about Omar Marmoush.
The 27-year-old moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester in January 2025 for around 75 million euros. There, however, he never progressed beyond the role of backup. Marmoush is versatile in attack and remains under contract with the Sky Blues through the summer of 2029.
According to information from TEAMtalk, several clubs are currently interested in the Egyptian player. Tottenham and Nottingham Forest are mentioned in particular. However, the website also reports interest from the Bundesliga, where Marmoush still enjoys a very good reputation.

Several teams have reportedly gathered information and would be willing to make a move. However, hardly any club in the Bundesliga can afford an immediate transfer—though Bayern would definitely be among them.
As things stand, it’s still unclear whether a loan with an option to buy might even be a possibility. That would open the door even wider for the record champions. Especially if one or two offensive talents were to leave to gain playing time elsewhere, another offensive player could still fit into the plan. For now, though, that’s still a long way off. Still, we know how quickly things can develop during a busy transfer summer.
