Inzaghi ‘to hand’ Summerville minutes against MC Alger in Austria | OneFootball

Simone Inzaghi has settled the question of Crysencio Summerville’s involvement for Al-Hilal’s friendly with MC Alger today, Wednesday, in Austria. According to Al-Riyadiah, the head coach will give the new Dutch signing a few minutes, in line with a programme set by the club’s physical trainer.

The game is the Saudi side’s third outing of their Austrian camp as they build towards the 2026-27 season.

Summerville joined the group after last Friday’s friendly with Mamelodi Sundowns. He signed from West Ham United, reportedly for around 80 million euros.

Ruben Neves misses out, having only just rejoined after Portugal’s World Cup campaign in the USA, Canada and Mexico. New arrival Mohamed Mahzari, signed from Al-Taawoun, is also absent after undergoing routine physical and medical checks on Wednesday morning alongside Neves.

Al-Hilal have beaten Sturm Graz 2-1 and Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 on this trip, and victory over MC Alger would crown a productive camp. They conclude in Austria on 3 August against Al-Ahli of Qatar, then return to Riyadh.
