Republic of Ireland and Birmingham City star Jamie Finn has announced her engagement to long-term girlfriend Sarah Walsh.
The pair were engaged on June 13th, with Finn confirming the news in a social media post on Sunday night.
Finn popped the question during a holiday to the Greek island of Rhodes.
The Ireland posted a number of photos of the pair on a beach on the Greek island, as well as lying on the grass in another location.
Walsh was seen flashing her engagement ring to the camera in a number of photos posted by Finn.
Finn wrote in the social media post: “A sunrise of dreams. Here’s to a lifetime together. 13.06.25.”
The 27-year-old on the football pitch has been with Birmingham City since joining in 2021. She joined the Blues after previous stints with Irish sides Shelbourne and Raheny United.
Finn, who can play in defence or midfield, has also made 16 appearances for the Republic of Ireland.
She returned to action in February after missing 353 days of action with an ACL injury.
Jamie Finn’s fiancee Sarah Walsh is also from the Republic of Ireland and the pair have been a couple for several years.
Walsh largely keeps out of the public eye and there is no public details on her professional background.
However, she is known to be a supportive partner of Finn, frequently attending her matches and celebrating her achievements on social media.
Her presence on social media is modest, with posts primarily focusing on her life with Finn, including holidays, family gatherings and milestones such as their engagement.
Like Finn she also appears to be very active and has taken part in some notable long-distance running events.
In March, she took part in the Dublin half marathon, while she has also taken part in a 10k marathon in Birmingham, and the 2025 Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin in which she ran for charity Breast Cancer Ireland.
Jamie Finn has been congratulated on social media by her fellow football stars following her engagement to Sarah Walsh.
Arsenal and Republic of Ireland left-back Katie McCabe sent her best wishes, writing “congratulations” in reply to Finn’s engagement post.
Birmingham City and Ireland teammate Lily Agg commented: “Awwwwww my favourites. What a couple you are! Soooo much love for you both.”
Louise Quinn, who leaves Birmingham City this summer after retiring from football, wrote: “Ooooooooh ma god! Congrats you two.”
Lucy Quinn, who also plays for Birmingham and Ireland, joked: “Sarah’s off the market. Congrats girls.”
