Liverpool have signed an absolute gem, it's now becoming official.

The Reds have been busy over the course of the last 12 months. We've seen a real generational change occur at Anfield. Liverpool's team have been reshaped, and remoulded.

We've seen legends leave the club. Mo Salah and Andy Robertson most notably this summer but we've also seen new younger players coming in hoping to make their mark on the team.

Change is never easy. Things are never going to work out straight away. However, there are signs that Liverpool are heading in the right direction.

Andoni Iraola has restored the club's identity and Liverpool are once again playing the kind of football that you expect to see at Anfield.

It will take time, for things to be perfect but the Reds are on their way.

Liverpool are building a super team

The most notable change has been how many U23 players Liverpool have signed over the last year or so.

The Reds are very focused on bringing in players not just for the now but for the future as well. Victor Munoz and Jeremy Jacquet are great example of this.

But also Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Bradley Barcola are all players who will form the backbone of this team for many years to come.

Behind them Liverpool are also making some strong additions at youth level. They've signed the likes of Armin Pecsi, Will Wright, Lucca Brughmans, Ifeanyi Ndukwe and Djylian N'Guessan, who all have the potential to be playing for the first-team in the future.

And there's another who has officially confirmed he is a super talent.

Liverpool new signing Mor Talla Ndiaye is incredible

The Reds signed an 18-year-old defender from the Senegalese second division in January. Ndiaye may have caught the eye at the U17 World Cup but his arrival raised a lot of eyebrows.

Liverpool don't tend to sign players directly from Africa. The last time the Reds brought someone in directly from the continent was Taiwo Awoniyi, many years ago.

But Ndiaye's signing is officially becoming a genius one, and it's very apparent that Liverpool have acquired an absolute sensation.

This season the 18-year-old has been incredible for the club's U21 side. Ndiaye has put in some really strong performances both at U21 and U19 level.

He is not only a great defender but he is fantastic on the ball. The fact that he is left-footed makes him a real unicorn. At 18, he's a special talent, and someone who will provide a brilliant option for Iraola's side in the near future.
