Hull City, newly promoted to the Premier League, are very interested in signing Benfica forward Franjo Ivanovic. According to Glorioso 1904, the club have opened talks with Benfica.
Ivanovic faces a difficult path to regular minutes at the Estádio da Luz, and Como, coached by Cesc Fábregas, are also in the frame.
He joined last season for a fee of more than 20 million euros. The arrival of Jhon Durán, a signing backed by Marco Silva, further reduces his opportunities after he spent 2025/26 behind Vangelis Pavlidis.
Despite a 100 million euro release clause, Benfica are prepared to negotiate for the 22-year-old, but not immediately. The initial plan is to integrate and adapt Durán, after which Ivanovic could be given the green light to leave.
Last season he made 42 appearances, 25 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 11 in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and two in the Taça da Liga. Across 1,437 minutes he scored nine goals and supplied two assists. He is valued at 15 million euros.
