Elye Wahi and Yan Diomandé are both expected to start, as the Ivory Coast prepare to face France in a warm-up match for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
The Ivory Coast will face Les Bleus in Nantes on Thursday night and they will do so at full strength. RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Guéla Doué is expected to start at right-back. Up front, it is Wahi, who recently changed his international allegiance, who is expected to lead the line. He joined up with the squad late, having remained with OGC Nice in order to save them from relegation to Ligue 2.
Diomandé, heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, is expected to play on the left of the attack. Aston Villa’s Evan Guessand is expected to start from the bench, as is Simon Adingra, who spent the second half of last season on loan at AS Monaco from Sunderland.
