Leeds United Women produced another superb display, comfortably dispatching of Huddersfield Town Women in their latest FA WNL Cup Group T encounter.

Goals from Izzy Dean, Amy Woodruff and Kath Smith were enough for a resounding 3-0 victory at the BD Community Stadium, meaning it is now five wins on the bounce for Simon Wood’s side.

Speaking after the match, Dean gave her thoughts on the win over the Terriers.

“That was a really great team performance,” she began, summarising the 90 minutes.

“From minute one to the last kick of the game, we were everywhere. First ball, second ball, we won everything.

“I’m really happy with my goal, but to be fair, Drew [Greene] put it on a plate for me so I can't really miss that one!

“Today it was massive. I think it was good to have a challenge against a team from the league above. Also, another clean sheet as well, so we're happy with that and we were going really well to the end.

“Watching from centre back, it's so good to watch. Like, the one-two football. I'm glad I'm not playing against our strikers!”
