Hull City have completed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Jack Butland from Rangers as they begin strengthening their squad ahead of their return to the Premier League.
The 33-year-old has signed a two-year contract at the MKM Stadium, with the club holding the option to extend his stay by a further year. The move comes as part of a busy week between the two clubs, with Croatian goalkeeper Ivor Pandur heading in the opposite direction to Rangers in a deal worth around £6 million.
Butland leaves Ibrox after two seasons, having made 157 appearances for the Scottish club following his arrival from Crystal Palace in 2023. The former England international brings a wealth of top-flight experience, having previously represented Birmingham City, Stoke City, Manchester United and Derby County.
Hull's first signing of the summer is expected to play a key role under Sergej Jakirovic as the Tigers prepare for their first Premier League campaign since earning promotion last season.
