Jack Grealish returns to Everton on loan | OneFootball

Jack Grealish has returned to Everton on a season-long loan from Manchester City, giving the England international another chance to rediscover his best form on Merseyside.

The 30-year-old spent last season with the Toffees, recording two goals and six assists in 20 Premier League appearances before a foot injury ended his campaign in January.

Grealish had featured twice for City this season, coming off the bench against Arsenal in the Community Shield and Bournemouth in the Premier League, but he was not part of their plans moving forward.

The winger joined City from Aston Villa for a British-record £100 million in 2021 and has since made 159 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 24 assists.

Everton were Grealish’s preferred destination despite interest from several clubs, including Villa and Sunderland. He will now link up with David Moyes again as Everton look to build on their strong start to the season.
