Jakub Kaminski injured on Poland duty, out of three Nations League games | OneFootball

Jakub Kaminski has withdrawn from Poland's squad after suffering a muscle injury against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has returned to Benfica.

The Benfica winger came off during Friday's 0-0 draw and initially hoped to remain with the national team, but he has gone back to Seixal for assessment.

The Polish FA confirmed on Saturday that he will begin his rehabilitation under the club's medical staff, ruling him out of Poland's next three Nations League fixtures.

The problem is in the adductor and, while a lengthy absence is not anticipated, a schedule of four games in 10 days means he misses the remaining matches.

To cover his absence, Poland have called up Oskar Pietuszewski, the 18-year-old from Porto, who was not in the original squad after a recent injury lay-off.
