"Well, obviously, we need to get some wingers in," said head coach James Morrison. According to ExpressAndStar.com, he highlighted a shortage of senior width and ongoing work to address it with the season three Saturdays away.

Albion have no fit senior wingers after Jed Wallace’s release and Karlan Grant’s decision not to renew. Mikey Johnston remains at the club but did not travel to the Portugal training camp as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury.

"We haven't got one at the moment. But there's a lot of work going on behind the scenes. So I'm pretty comfortable."
