Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has named the team he believes is going through out of PSG and Chelsea tonight.
And it’s bad news if you’re a Chelsea fan and you rate Carragher’s opinions and predictions, because he thinks it will be the French side going through to the next round of the Champions League.

Chelsea play PSG in Paris tonight in the first leg, and then back in London at Stamford Bridge in the next game. It will be a very tough game for both these teams, who have been pretty strong of late.
Chelsea of course have already beaten PSG in a major game recently, winning the Club World Cup final against them back in the summer. So there might be some scores to settle, and Chelsea may well be feeling pretty confident due to what already happened there. It was really quite easy for The Blues in the end.

Speaking last night after watching Liverpool lose their first leg UCL game 1-0 against Galatasaray, Carragher was cited on X as saying:
“I don’t have any hope for Liverpool going into the next round… if it’s PSG, which I think it might be.”
So he’s basically saying that if Liverpool do end up going through, then they wont get past the next round anyway, which he believes will be against PSG rather than Chelsea as that is their schedule.
One move that will definitely be made in the summer is arrival of Geovany Quenda to Chelsea from Sporting for around £18m – and there are already plans in place for him.
Luis Enrique took his PSG press conference yesterday, and he previewed tonight’s Champions League game by speaking a lot about Liam Rosenior’s style of play.
