Jauregizar has returned only days after being injured against Real Oviedo, a match in which he scored a fine strike from the edge of the box.

Valverde intends to assess him for Saturday, while keeping caution and prioritising the Copa semi-final return at Anoeta on Wednesday four March, with the tie at 0-1 after the first leg.

Winger Álex Berenguer is also pushing to make it against Iñigo Pérez’s side, now involved in rondos and on the ball after easing discomfort in a toe.

Nico Williams remains out with pubalgia, and the operated Sannadi, Prados and Egiluz are unavailable, although the centre-back is already training with the group for Saturday’s league game.
