According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica have confirmed the permanent transfer of Belgian forward Jelani Trevisan to Romanian side Cluj, with the fee undisclosed.

The 21-year-old was Benfica B’s top scorer in 2025/26 with seven goals. He had previously been invited by José Mourinho to train with the first team and has been at the club since 2022.

Benfica wished Trevisan success in his next step and on a personal level. He joins the 11th-placed side in the Romanian league and will line up alongside Portuguese Simão Rocha.

Trevisan had been linked with Schalke earlier in the summer. The German club, recently back in the Bundesliga, spoke with his representatives about a possible deal, but it did not materialise.

In 2025/26 he made 31 competitive appearances for Benfica, totalling 1,378 minutes, with eight goals and two assists. His outings included 27 matches in Liga Portugal Meu Super, plus two in Liga Revelação and two in the Premier League International Cup. Trevisan is valued at 400,000 euros.
