Jenni Hermoso has rejoined Atlético de Madrid, signing until 2027 after leaving Tigres, the club said in a statement. The Spain international, 36, begins her third spell at the club.
She first joined Atlético at age 12 and made her first-team debut in 2006. Her career has also taken her to Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona, Tyresö, PSG, Pachuca and Tigres.
Returning from PSG in 2018, she helped Atlético win their most recent league title. She scored 24 goals that season, finishing as top scorer after netting in 17 of her 28 league appearances.
With Spain, she debuted in 2007, won the 2023 World Cup against England and lifted the 2024 Nations League against France.
Hermoso completed the required medical before signing. She joins head coach David González’s squad to strengthen the attack.
