Oliver Glasner has a selection call as promoted Coventry City visit the City Ground on Saturday. According to Nottingham Post, Forest want back-to-back wins before the international break.
Forest beat Aston Villa 2-1 last weekend after late withdrawals for Nikola Milenkovic and Jair Cunha. Milenkovic is out of the Sky Blues match, and there is hope Jair could be available.
At Villa Park, Ousmane Diomande and Ola Aina covered. Diomande made his first Premier League start and Aina played on the right of a back three, with Murillo left.
The unit worked, so there is a case for staying as is, although Jair could come in for Aina. If Aina loses that role he may drop to the bench.
Daniel Munoz drew praise from Jamie Carragher and will surely keep his place. Midfield changes also look unlikely.
Ibrahim Sangare returned from injury on the bench as Xaver Schlager and James McAtee forged a strong pairing. Glasner’s biggest call could be who joins Morgan Gibbs-White in the two No.10 roles.
Igor Jesus came on to score the winner and is arguably better there than up front. It will take some doing to dislodge Liam Delap now he has opened his account.
Glasner values Dan Ndoye’s work but the Switzerland international could still offer more. Saturday might be the moment to start Jesus, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Arnaud Kalimuendo will hope for chances soon. Forest predicted XI: Sels; Jair, Diomande, Murillo; Munoz, Schlager, McAtee, Williams; Jesus, Gibbs-White; Delap.
