Oliver Glasner says Jair Cunha could return for Nottingham Forest’s clash with Coventry, although a final decision will depend on how he responds to training.
The defender took part in a light session on Thursday and will be assessed again before the weekend, but Nikola Milenkovic will again miss out.
“Nikola, no,” Glasner said. “I mentioned after the game against Aston Villa he will miss Coventry, but Jair trained with us today.
“To be honest it was a very light session. He did some top ups, looks okay, so now we have to wait for the reaction.”
Glasner is hopeful Cunha will be available if he comes through the next session without any issues.
“Hopefully, if there is no reaction and he can train with us, he will be available,” he added.
Forest will definitely be without Nicolo Savona and Milenkovic, but Glasner otherwise expects to have a fully fit squad.
“Apart from Savona and Milenkovic, all other players will be fit.”
