Jordon Ibe has been charged with actual bodily harm in relation to an alleged assault.

The Sun reports that a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the charge relates to an alleged assault on Sunday 14 December 2025, and that he was arrested at Luton Airport on Friday 30 January and taken into custody.

Ibe, 30, of Chislehurst in south-east London, has been released on bail. He is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday 6 March.

The winger began his senior career at Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, making seven appearances before joining Liverpool in 2012.

He featured 41 times for Liverpool, and had loans at Birmingham City and Derby County. He signed for Bournemouth in 2016, where he made 78 appearances.

He later played for Derby County, Hayes and Yeading United, and Hungerford Town, and now represents Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria. Ibe has also played for England up to under-21 level, making 15 youth appearances.
