Jordon Ibe has been charged with actual bodily harm in connection with an alleged assault.

The Metropolitan Police said the charge relates to an incident alleged to have occurred on Sunday 14 December 2025.

He was arrested at Luton Airport on Friday 30 January and taken into custody, then released on bail.

Ibe, 30, from Chislehurst in south-east London, is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Friday 6 March.

The right winger began his senior career at Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, making seven appearances before joining Liverpool in 2012.

He played 41 times for the Reds and had loans at Birmingham City and Derby County, then moved to AFC Bournemouth in 2016.

Ibe made 78 appearances for the Cherries, later featuring for Derby, Hayes & Yeading United and Hungerford Town, and he now plays for Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria.

He has represented England at youth level up to under-21s, earning 15 caps.
