José Bordalás on Osasuna’s agenda as Getafe talks stall

José Bordalás will be one of the major names in the transfer market. According to Superdeporte, the Alicante coach is close to ending his spell at Getafe.

His contract expires in June, and a meeting with Ángel Sánchez ended with the two sides far apart, leaving the Getafe coach available.

Osasuna are among the main suitors for Bordalás. They secured safety on the final day of La Liga, against Bordalás’s Getafe.

That fraught finish prompted the dismissal of Alessio Lisci.

It is not the first time Osasuna have explored Bordalás. In 2014, with the club in Segunda División, they offered him the Sadar dugout, but he chose Alcorcón.
