Julian Brandt has been offered to Real Betis, who do not see him as the right fit for their current plans, according to El Correo de Andalucía.
The Leeds United target is a free agent after his Borussia Dortmund contract expired and is weighing options for next season. Leeds would like him at Elland Road for his experience and Champions League pedigree.
Reports have suggested La Liga is among Brandt's preferred destinations. His father and agent, Jürgen Brandt, was pictured at the Luis del Sol Sports City, reportedly viewing Betis' facilities.
Betis finished fifth in La Liga last season, securing a Champions League place. Former Leeds players Junior Firpo, Diego Llorente and Marc Roca featured during the campaign.
Leeds are expected to announce the already-agreed arrival of Harry Wilson in the coming days. Defender Pascal Struijk is set for a move to Brighton.
