Julian Kenyonis hits brace to share lead and eclipse Ronaldo

Julian Kenyonis struck twice for Al-Qadsia, drawing level at the top of the Roshen Professional League scoring charts and eclipsing Ronaldo.

According to Goal.com, the Mexican forward’s surge has tightened the season’s Golden Boot race.

Kenyonis hit a brace in Sunday’s 2-3 defeat to Al-Ittifaq in round 27.

His haul moved him to 26 goals, level with Englishman Ivan Toney of Al-Ahli Jeddah.

In the same round, Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo also scored twice as his side beat Al-Najma 5-2.

Ronaldo won the Golden Boot in the last two editions with 35 and 25 goals.
