Junior fans that have taken part in local community programmes organised by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust have been invited to join Brentford staff as we prepare to welcome thousands of fans to the Gtech.
With junior fans already able to attend the game for free thanks to stadium naming rights partner Gtech, Brentford is giving the next generation of fans the unique experience of shadowing our staff and learning what it takes to set up for matchday.
On the day, young Bees will work closely with our content team to capture images of players and fans, our media team on commentary and writing written match reports, and our operations team assisting the kit man and grounds staff.
Club ambassadors Marcus Gayle and Karleigh Osborne will also have fans with them in the premium areas to help them welcome our guests and complete their pre-match engagements.
Sally Stephens, fan and community relations director, said: “It’s a great opportunity for young fans to take over the matchday, and for them to see how much goes into putting on a matchday both off the pitch as well as on it.
“Creating unforgettable matchday experiences is so important as we look to building the next generation of Bees fans.
"Offering free tickets for this game thanks to Gtech is an important part of that, and the junior takeover is sure to make the matchday that extra bit special for our young Bees.”
If you’re a junior fan attending the game, you can get involved in our takeover day too!
If you’re not with us on matchday, there are plenty of other ways young fans can show their support for Brentford:
