Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Parma are all involved in a potential deal for goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, but the latest updates claim that Bianconeri striker Jonathan David could also enter the equation.

Juventus and PSG discussing Suzuki and David options

According to the latest updates from Fabrizio Romano, PSG are closing in on an agreement to sign goalkeeper Suzuki from Parma this summer. The Japanese goalkeeper is reportedly valued at €35m.

Even though PSG are keen to bring the Parma stopper to the Parc des Princes this summer, it remains to be seen whether he will play his football in Paris or elsewhere in 2026-27 given that Matvei Safonov and Lucas Chevalier remain on the books as well.

If PSG do sign Suzuki and decide to make him available for loan in 2026-27, Juventus are keen to bring him back to Serie A to replace Michele Di Gregorio at the Allianz Stadium. However, there is still a possibility that PSG decide to keep hold of Suzuki while re-assessing their goalkeeping hierarchy. Much also depends on whether Chevalier is sold or not.

Meanwhile, according to Monday’s updates, Juventus striker Jonathan David could also become involved in talks between the Old Lady and PSG.

Juventus are still hoping to sell David on a permanent transfer this summer with a price tag in the region of €20m-€30m. A loan move with a potential option to buy has not been ruled out at this stage either.

Calciomercato.com suggests that PSG are in need of an alternative option at centre-forward after selling Goncalo Ramos to Milan earlier this window and that David is an option.

PSG executive Luis Campos is also a key figure in this scenario, given that he was credited with bringing David to France when he served as the sporting director at Lille.
