Juventus have two major doubts surrounding the availability of Gleison Bremer and Khephren Thuram for Wednesday’s Champions League match away against Villarreal following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta in Serie A.
Juventus recorded their third successive draw across all competitions with their 1-1 tie against Atalanta on Saturday evening. Kamaldeen Sulemana opened the scoring for the visitors, which was cancelled out by Juan Cabal’s leveller 15 minutes from time.
During Saturday’s action, both Bremer and Thuram requested to be replaced with physical concerns, however. Both players are expected to report for medical examinations on Monday.

As things stand, however, Bremer is a major doubt for Villarreal in the Champions League. Even though the full extent of his problem is not yet known, Tuttosport writes that Juventus do not feel prepared to risk the Brazilian given that he has only recently returned from an injury that kept him out of action for almost a full year.
Thuram will also have to wait to learn the full extent of the calf issue that forced him out of Saturday’s draw with Atalanta.
As per Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are not expecting a major injury for Thuram, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to play against Villarreal on Wednesday.
