Juventus is interested in a move for Manchester City star | OneFootball

Rayan Ait-Nouri was one of the finest left-backs in Europe during his time at Wolves, and the defender demonstrated his quality in numerous matches, prompting Pep Guardiola to sign him for Manchester City.

However, since moving to City, he has struggled for regular game time and has found it difficult to play as much as he would have liked at the Etihad. He is not the first choice and has primarily been used in cup games or when other options are unavailable, which is not what the 25-year-old wants.

Juventus consider Ait-Nouri

Ait-Nouri believes he should be playing more regularly than he is at present, and Juventus are open to giving him that opportunity, which is why they are showing interest in his signature.

With Juan Cabal not impressing Luciano Spalletti, the manager has asked the club to sign a new left-back, and he is willing to sell Cabal to make room for another player in the position.

Even if Cabal remains at the club, Juventus could still sign another left back during the coming transfer window. Their interest in Ait-Nouri reflects their desire to strengthen the position.

Ait-Nouri could seek more game time

Tuttojuve reports that Ait-Nouri is one of the top players in that position on Juventus’ shopping list at present. The club will reportedly do its best to add him to their squad during the next transfer window.

A move could also appeal to Ait-Nouri if he decides that leaving Manchester City is necessary to secure the amount of playing time he wants. His current situation has limited his opportunities since joining the club, making regular football an important consideration for his future.

Juventus could therefore provide him with an opportunity to play more consistently, while the defender could offer the club another option at left back. Much will depend on whether he becomes available and whether the Bianconeri decide to pursue the transfer.
