Juventus ‘to open talks’ with Lyon over Loïs Openda | OneFootball

Tuttosport reports that Juventus are prepared to open talks with Lyon over a potential future transfer of Loïs Openda (26).

Loaned to the Rhône club this summer, the Belgian has started each of his nine outings, being decisive three times with two goals and one assist.

His athleticism and link-up play have underlined that he would undoubtedly have a key role if Lyon are to enjoy a successful season domestically and internationally.

Openda remains under contract at Juventus until 2030. After a disappointing debut campaign in Italy, two goals in 34 matches, he chose to leave Turin to rediscover form.

A sale of Openda, together with the departure of Jonathan David (26), currently on loan at Atlético Madrid, could therefore help Juventus realise that ambition.
