Marco Carnesecchi has been on Juventus’ radar since he was on loan at Cremonese some years ago, and they are ready to make a significant investment to sign him at the end of this season.

Luciano Spalletti realised that the two goalkeepers at Juve when he arrived last season were not good enough, and the club agreed, with both goalkeepers now out of the club. This left Juventus needing to find alternatives.

However, the Bianconeri did not find the goalkeeper they needed and signed two others on loan for the rest of this campaign, which means they will be back on the market for a goalkeeper in the summer.

They were ready to spend on a top goalkeeper in the last window, but none was available, and they are ready to spend on another when this season ends. Juventus will therefore continue looking for a long-term solution in goal.

Juve previously broke the world record to sign Gianluigi Buffon, and that record stood for decades. The club has a history of making significant investments in goalkeepers, and they could be prepared to spend heavily again.

Football Italia says they could spend as much as €50m on Carnesecchi in the summer. The reported figure would represent a major investment as Juventus look to secure their preferred goalkeeper.

Carnesecchi remains a target

Carnesecchi is already established as one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A, and Atalanta will not allow him to leave cheaply. Juventus therefore know they have to be ready to spend big to sign him, and they are ready to do just that.

His established position in Serie A has made him an attractive option for Juventus, who have already monitored his progress for several years. Their interest dates back to his time at Cremonese, showing that the goalkeeper has remained on their radar.

With Juventus expected to return to the market for a goalkeeper in the summer, Carnesecchi could become a central target. The club appears prepared to make a substantial investment if it can secure his signature.

Atalanta’s position means Juventus will have to meet their demands, while the reported €50m valuation indicates the scale of investment that could be required to bring the goalkeeper to Turin.
