Kane on FC Bayern: „A completely different world…“ | OneFootball

Harry Kane and FC Bayern are definitely a perfect match. The record champions pulled off a major coup with the Englishman’s transfer in 2023. Kane himself is also absolutely happy in Munich, as he has once again emphasized effusively. 

On Wednesday, the Englishman received the Golden Boot as the top scorer in all of Europe. At a ceremony in the Bayern Museum, Luca Toni delivered a laudatory speech, congratulations from former teammates were displayed on screen, and Kane took the stage to answer questions.

Later, he also gave an interview to the English media. Speaking with Henry Winter, Kane once again emphasized just how comfortable he feels in Munich.

Kane: “I’m extremely happy in Munich”

The outpouring of praise was triggered by a question about Kane’s potential return to the Premier League. “Right after I left the Spurs, it was definitely something I thought would happen. But that urge isn’t as strong anymore. I’m extremely happy here in Munich. This move has opened my eyes to a completely different world of soccer outside of England. It has taught me to appreciate European soccer even more,” said Kane.

These are statements that FC Bayern will be very happy to hear in light of the upcoming contract negotiations with the striker. Talks are set to enter the critical phase shortly, and Kane is open to a new deal.

Not only Kane himself, but also those close to him feel very at home in Munich and at FC Bayern in general. “It’s fun with the team we have here and with the coach. My family has really settled in here. It’s all about being in the best possible place. I never say never, but for now I’m focusing on Bayern Munich, and we’ll see what the future brings,” said the forward.
