Kanga snatches late point as St Mirren stay second | OneFootball

Jardell Kanga struck in the third minute of second half stoppage time as St Mirren drew 3-3 with Motherwell at the Marbill Coaches Stadium, keeping St Mirren second and dropping Motherwell to sixth.

Tawanda Maswanhise opened the scoring in the second minute, finishing Alex Lowry's pass. VAR confirmed a penalty for handball against Alexandros Gogic, but Maswanhise's kick was saved by Jacob Chapman (15.). Regan Charles-Cook then drove in from outside the box (24.).

Paul Nsio pulled one back for the hosts, his close-range finish confirmed by VAR (39.). Declan John levelled from a tight angle on the left after a fast break (44.). In the fourth minute of first half stoppage time, Samuel Ramos swept in after Gogic's headed pass to turn the game.

Alex Paulsen produced a string of saves to keep Motherwell alive. Deep into second half stoppage time, substitute Kanga slammed in from a corner to equalise.

St Mirren registered 23 attempts, with nine on target. Motherwell mustered 22 attempts and seven on target.
