Kazunari Kita signs for Real Sociedad until 2030 after option exercised

Kazunari Kita has joined Real Sociedad permanently on a contract to June 2030 after the club activated their purchase option.

AS reports the fee is 1.5 million euros for the 20-year-old Japanese centre-back.

He has been a mainstay for the reserves, who kept their Segunda División status, and has featured regularly.

Matarazzo also likes him and has called him up for first-team training on several occasions at Zubieta.

Kita spent last season on loan under Jon Ansotegi and will continue with the second team.

He offers a medium-term alternative to compete with Zubeldia, Jon Martin and Beitia.
