Arsenal may reportedly have renewed hope of signing Kenan Yildiz, as he’s set to inform Juventus that he wants to join the Gunners.
The talented young Turkey international has shown himself to be an exciting talent with some eye-catching displays in Serie A, and it’s easy to see him being a strong alternative to Vinicius Junior.
According to Indy Kaila, Yildiz is eager to get a transfer to Arsenal and will tell Juventus this, though they’ve slapped a £120m asking price onto his head.
This is not the first we’ve heard about Yildiz and Arsenal, with Sky journalist Sacha Tavolieri previously describing him as Mikel Arteta’s “dream target” in the X post below…
On top of that, the Athletic have previously claimed that Arsenal made an enquiry about the 21-year-old, only to be told that he’s not for sale.
This clearly seems like something to watch after the news of Vini Jr signing a new contract with Real Madrid this week.
Some Arsenal fans might be keen on a bigger name and more experienced player, but at the same time it would be hard not to get excited by a talent like Yildiz heading to the Emirates Stadium.
WhoScored describe the youngster as being very strong on dribbling, as well as strong on finishing and key passes, while their analysis also shows he has no significant weaknesses to his game.
Yildiz finished with 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions in 2025/26, and there seems little doubt he has the potential to be a big upgrade on the inconsistent Gabriel Martinelli.
It will be interesting to see if this does end up being Arsenal’s priority, or if we instead see them attempting to join the race for Bradley Barcola.
