Kerolin said goodbye to Manchester City Tuesday afternoon before being confirmed as a new signing for FC Barcelona record-breaking transfer.
Barcelona are reported to have paid €1.5 million (just under £1.3 million) to convince City to part way with the forward. If that number is confirmed, it would set a new record for women’s clubs, as well as for a Brazilian player.
At 26, Kerolin is heading into her second spell in Spanish football. She played for Madrid CFF between 2020 and 2021 before moving on to the United States.
At Manchester City since 2024/25, Kerolin arrives after an outstanding season. She scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 19 matches last season, helping the Citizens to the title.
Kerolin’s contract with Barcelona runs for four years, and she will become the fourth Brazilian in the club’s history.
