Chaired by His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad, the board thanked PIF for its backing, highlighting progress in institutional transformation, operating frameworks, and operational and commercial capacity since the fund took ownership.

The board welcomed Kingdom Holding as the principal shareholder. It looked ahead to a new chapter aimed at sustaining growth, strengthening competitive and investment capabilities, and expanding the club’s reach at home and abroad, while preserving its legacy and identity and meeting supporters’ expectations.

The transaction aligns with the Investment and Privatisation Project for Sports Clubs, supported by national leadership within Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the sports sector, enhance its economic and investment contribution, and enable clubs to achieve sustainability and growth.

The board set out an ambition for a new phase for Al-Hilal, aiming to maintain sporting and institutional leadership and to build a sustainable sporting and investment model capable of competing domestically and internationally, contributing to the aspirations of Saudi sport.
