Köln confirm Denis Huseinbašić's move to Braga

1. FC Köln have confirmed that Denis Huseinbašić has joined SC Braga, ending four years at the club. The move to Portugal was announced on Wednesday.

The club said in a statement that the 24-year-old sought a move after limited minutes last season, and managing director for sport Thomas Kessler confirmed an agreement with Braga and conveyed the club's thanks and best wishes.

Huseinbašić reflected on four exciting years, expressing gratitude to the club for trusting him with his first steps in professional football and to supporters for their backing, even in difficult periods.

He made nine starts in 16 appearances for Köln in the 2025/26 season.

In total, he played 108 games for the Bundesliga side, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
