Köln ‘to consider’ free-agent signing after striker injuries, with ex-Real Madrid forward Joselu among options | OneFootball

Köln have been left short up front after weekend injuries to centre forwards Ragnar Ache and Thijs Dallinga.

Express reports that the club could seek a quick free-agent signing, with Joselu, Dawid Kownacki, Ihlas Bebou and Cedric Teuchert among the names floated. Joselu, a former Real Madrid marksman, won Euro 2024 with Spain.

Ache is dealing with muscular problems, while Dallinga sustained an ACL injury in yesterday's friendly against Viktoria Köln.

Kownacki has just been released by Werder Bremen, Bebou previously played for TSG Hoffenheim, and Teuchert left Hannover 96 in 2024 and has just run out of contract at MLS side St. Louis City.

These remain hypothetical options for now, and it is unclear whether Köln will make an emergency move.
