Reports in Italy confirm that Randal Kolo Muani required surgery on a fractured finger following Juventus’s 2-0 win over Atalanta in Serie A on Sunday evening.

According to reports from Tuttosport, Kolo Muani has fractured a finger, which will require surgical intervention, but the Bianconeri are not worried about this becoming a long-term issue.

According to the Tuttosport report, Kolo Muani will have the operation on Monday, and with a three-week international break coming up, it is expected that he should be able to return to action for Juventus’s next match, which comes away against Cagliari on October 11.

Kolo Muani is already the fifth Juve player to go under the knife this season following the injuries to Kenan Yildiz, Khephren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli and most recently Kamil Grabara.

The Frenchman is still without a goal in Serie A after rejoining Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but put in an encouraging performance during his side’s 2-0 win over Atalanta on Sunday.
