Kurt Zouma completes shock move to CFR Cluj

Kurt Zouma has sealed a move to Romanian outfit CFR Cluj, with the club confirming his arrival on Wednesday.

The French centre-back has agreed a two-year deal at the Dr. Constantin Radulescu Stadium, which also includes the option of a third season.

A Premier League winner on two occasions and part of Chelsea’s Champions League triumph, Zouma was a free agent following the expiry of his contract with West Ham United.

He played 103 games for the Hammers over a four-year spell, after making a £30million switch from Chelsea in 2021.

Last season, the 30-year-old spent time on loan in Saudi Arabia with Al-Orobah, where he made 20 appearances in all competitions.
